Oh my, so much can happen in such a little amount of time.
At the end of October I moved out of my parents’ house and moved in with some friends of mine. The most selfless, loving and generous family I have ever known. After a couple weeks of adjusting I started looking for a job. I found a nanny job about 20 minutes away, but it did not start till January 9th. I took the job and was so excited, but a week before I was supposed to start, the family contacted me and let me know that they did not need me anymore. That was very disappointing to me, but I later concluded that God had something better for me. So, I went back to job searching and kept praying that God would bring the right job to me at the right time. In January, a lady contacted me wanting to know if I was interested in learning more about her long-term, full-time nanny position, I was very interested and let her know. I had an interview with her the next Friday and by the end of January I had a full-time job. I was so excited and ready to work again. I am so happy that God had better plans for me. I love how God worked everything out to His glory.
I have been going through a rough time in my life for the past couple months, I made some life changing decisions, but they were decisions I needed to make for a long time. They have caused lots of pain, but that does not mean I made the wrong decision, it just means sometimes there was going to be pain no matter what I decided. I know that the decisions I made were right and that my future will be better because of it. I have come a long way, but I know I still have a very long way to go. God has been with me through it all and I have found comfort in many songs, below are some of the ones that have really comforted me.
