Hello! Long time no read! Let me just catch you up on my life. My life is busy…. there, you’re caught up. Just kidding J. I’ll go into detail. I have lots of hopes for my life, so many dreams. I hope to please the LORD first and foremost. I want to inspire people with my life, I want my life to mean something. I want to CHANGE THE WORLD for the better! Now… what do you think? Do you want to change the world? Let’s change the world together! One step at a time. Randomness… I love it. I have… been doing school. Yippy only a couple more not so horrible months of high school. What do I hope to do after I graduate? Well, I would like to get a nanny job. I’m hoping for at least two kids, maybe three or four. Right now, I am a Thirty-one consultant… I plan to continue. To cap up, I plan to be a nanny and be a Thirty-one consultant.
Another major thing that’s going on is; we’re a licensed foster care family! I am very excited! We’re going to be able to have three kids, at a time. In Indiana you can have 5 kids under the age of 18. Since I turned 18 this year, and I have two younger brothers ages 16 and 14, we can have three foster kids. The boys (Sherman and Clayton), used to have their room upstairs. But now we moved it to the main floor and made a make shift room, in the used to be sewing room. We made the boys old room into the Kids room. Right now we have painted the walls light grey. Here’s how the décor in the kid’s room is going to be; light grey walls, with white, and grey furniture, with bright and bold colors. Bright yellow, orange, red and teal.
As I mentioned above, I am a Thirty-one consultant. If you don’t know what Thirty-one is, it’s a Christian organization. They sell fashionable and functional bags (they have other things too, jewelry, storage options…). Here’s my website https://www.mythirtyone.com/1773315. I am having so much fun being a consultant so far, I thoroughly enjoy it.
Hmm… I am continuing my babysitting jobs. I watch a little boy before and after school, someone in my family has been watching him since he was 18 months old and now he’s 6, so we know him very well. My babysitting job on Thursdays continues… I love it! I watch the kids in the basement while all the ladies have a worship and prayer time upstairs. When I graduate, like I said above, I want to be a full time nanny. I love kids so it’s a perfect job.
I’ve been reading. I love reading! Right now I am working on “Captivating” by John and Stasi Eldredge. I am planning on writing a book review on it soon. Along with reading, I’ve been writing. Like this blog post that you’re reading right now. I’ve been keeping up with Friends via letters, and emails. And I’ve been writing in my journals. I love journaling, don’t you?
My siblings and I have been visiting some really close friends. This past weekend we went to visit this family and got to watch their end of the year program.
Another thing that’s happening is…I hope to get more blog posts out on a regular basis. So tell me what you want to read about!
Doing crafts with my friends. My friend Elli and I have each been working on a giant bean bag, we’re almost done! I’ll try and put picture up when we’re done.
Another endeavor I’ve been working on is keeping my room clean. Every once in a while, when I do get it clean… it gets very messy very fast. So far this time Emily and I (we share a room), have been doing a pretty good job . There’s this quote I like and it’s true for me “my room was clean, then I had to figure out what to wear” but I’m working on bettering that.
And last but not least, there’s Hanukkah. Tonight is the fourth night of Hanukkah. So Chappy Chanukkah! Or Happy Hanukkah!!!
Love always,
Lids (aka Lydia)
